6th Grade Reading: Did you finish your 3 menu choices? Study for the test. MyOn- If you read 20 minutes every day-you will achieve your goal-180 minutes every 2 weeks. You need to have 180 minutes by next Monday, 10th.  6th Grade Science: Moon Phases Complete 154-159 by Monday. State 3 amazing facts about Bill Nye's Video on the Moon. Did you finishing viewing the video? There will be a quiz on Wednesday-Lesson 2. 7th Grade Science: Complete page 23-#10, page 25-#13 and give an example of a sink hole. What causes a sink hole and give a location of a sink hole.  8th Grade Science: Study for the quiz. Complete page 27-29. What can you tell me about lead poisoning in Peru? STEM 7th and 8th Graders Do you have 10  amazing  facts  on the John Hancock Building? Did you finish the scale drawing? Did you make a key? 6th Grade Did you draw an image of the building on the large graph paper? Did you state 5-10 facts about the building?

6th Grade Reading Finish 2 conversations about The Watsons go to Birmingham. Please bring your READING text book to class tomorrow. We will be starting a story tomorrow. Can you tell me who Gary Paulsen is tomorrow? How did you do on the test today? 6th Grade Science  Complete pages 160 and 161 . Please study for the quiz that is on Wednesday. You do not have to do numbers 10 and 13 tonight. Please look up the State Park -Starved Rock. Draw 5 images of weathering-explain and tell me if it is chemical or physical weathering. 6th Grade Reading  The test is next Monday . Please study the guide questions we talked about in class. Did you write them down in your notebook? Tomorrow you will have 15 minutes in class  to finish the activity using the Atlas.  How many minutes did you read so far on MyOn this week? 6th Grade Reading: Work on MyOn and the reading menu. The test is on Monday. Please study the questions you wrote down in your notebook (Study Guide). 6th Grade Science: Moon Phases Complete a 4 square diagram  for lunar phases and satellites (R24). 7th Grade Science: Complete page 19 in textbook. If possible, view  the digital lesson 2, take 1 page of notes on the lesson  and complete a 4 square on  oxidation.  8th Grade Science: Where did your lunch come from? Complete #5 page 20- Please be VERY specific. If you ate a turkey sandwich, name the turkey farm your turkey came from. Illustrate and color the assignment. Show deep knowledge.  STEM 4th and 5th Grades State 3-5 facts on John Hancock building. Sketch the John Hancock building in your STEM notebook.   6th Grade Draw the John Hancock to scale if possible. State 5 or more facts on the building. 8th Grade Do you have your facts? We will continue class on Friday on the John Hancock.

You can also pick leap year to research and illustrate. It is your choice. Draw and write a detailed explanation of the day you picked. What day of the year does this event  take place or how often? 6th Grade Reading: "The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963" We will be focusing on chapters 5-8 this week.  Review chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8. Please look at them and answer 2 of these 4 questions. Write these answers in your reading notebook. Take your time and do your best work.  Explain 2 of the following questions. What was happening in the story? Who was involved in the story?
