Reminder

The Student Council Dance   will be on Friday, October 23rd! Permission Slips will go home shortly! It is for the 7th and 8th graders.

SAVE THE DATE

6th Grade Reading:

Complete worksheet on the : "Atlas" and complete "Quiz Time."

Also- write 1 paragraph ( 4 sentences or more) and
state what object in the Jackdaws amazed you the most. State why.

7th Grade Reading:

Study for the quiz on chapters 20-21.
Complete a Venn diagram in your reading notebook. State  Jonas and his father's viewpoints on the community. 
Did their viewpoints change as the story progressed?

6th Grade Science:

Complete vocabulary on stars (page 16).

Please use a four square diagram or a description wheel for each. Look at page R24 for examples. 

List 5 facts on the Hubble Telescope.
Write these in your science notebook.

7th Grade Science: "Weathering"

Why did we have crackers in class?

Complete pages 18-20 in your science book. 

8th Grade Science:

Write on LOOSE LEAF- How technology has helped society and harmed society. Write a paragraph for each. Each paragraph must have 4 sentences or more. 

Write a hypothesis using the activity we did in the lab.
How would you change the activity so it would be to complete?
State the independent and dependent variable.
