7th Grade Science Is this a coffee table? Great Job 7th Grade! SCIENCE FAIR: 8th graders  please complete your covers for the Science Expo Program. It is optional for 6th and 7th  graders to design a cover. Please include the time of the fair: 6:00  p. m.  to 8 p.m. When -Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 Who : 4th-8th grade students  What: Mr. Freeze will be giving a "COOL" presentation. Also, awards will be given out to 6th to 8th grade students. Where : PMC 6th Grade Reading: Complete the Venn Diagram. Compare any character in the book to you. ATTENTION: Science  Classes:  In class Presentations start next Thursday for 7th grade students and Friday for 8th grade students. Did you finish your experiment yet? 6th  Grade Reading: Draw and color a picture of Phillip's friend Henrik. Also, write a description using  3 or more adjectives describing Henrik. Be specific. How old is he?  Use about 15 words or more. Did you define ballast and mutiny? Also, write a sentence for each and state the part of speech for each word. 6th Grade Science: What is your title of your science fair project? 7th Grade Science: Did you complete the drawing  on The Modified Mercalli scale? State   3 different various  intensities and draw and explain details for each. Please know your science fair title by Monday. 8th Grade Science: Draw and explain the 3 parts of Wellness- Physical-Social and Mental. Please know your science fair  title  by Monday. 6th Grade Reading: "The Cay" Complete the web on the setting. Students and Parents in 6th Grade Reading:             I HIGHLY recommend  6th grade students to  go to your  public library and check out  a copy  of "The Cay" or you could also buy your own copy.  This is optional not mandatory. We have hard cover  "Cay" books we use in class and some very old soft cover books students can check out to take home.  It is a great book! Did you know "The Cay" is printed in 14 different languages? Thanks, Mrs. B. 6th Grade Reading: Did you finish the vocabulary? Did you finish facts on the author? How did he start his writing career? DId you have a chance to start "The Cay?" Science Classes: Turn in the variables on Thursday . What is the control and constant? 6th Grade Science: "Sound and Hearing" What is an anvil? Complete pages 40-46. Turn in the wordsearch/puzzle on Wednesday. 7th Grade Science: "Oh My!" "Where could this be?" "Earthquakes"  Complete pages 254-261. How many steps of intensity are there on the Modified Mercalli Scale? 8th Grade Science: "The Human Body" Did you finish the puzzle on bones? Did you finish #1 on page 45?
